Stamp option 1750 ok for 23 lb window?

A quick learner from Florida says:
Need 18? replacements balances and the S380-18 has the top and shoe that matches my current ones. My windows weighs 23 lbs.tho. Will the 1750 option (17-20 lbs. work? My windows have CWS on the locks and the balances have 27 5 BSI stamped on them. (looks like a small pm just before the BSI)
Thanks

Thanks for writing in. No, I'm afraid that the 1750 is too light for your window. We can make up a 1760 stamp option for you that will work, but it will need to be custom made. Please give us time to get in touch with our senior experts, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can with what you need. Many thanks.

A quick learner from Florida says:
Many thanks, Bob. Will need 4 of them when you are ready.

Thanks for your patience. We have everything ready for you; but if it's all right, I'd like to check something just to be safe before proceeding. Can you show us pictures of your old balance's nylon fittings? Can you also confirm the length of the metal channel, not including the nylon fittings? Custom orders are non-refundable, so I just want to be absolutely sure we have the right balance for you. Sorry, it won't be long now, and thanks for bearing with us!

A quick learner from Florida says:
Bob and Expert ? thanks very much for questioning my choice. The balance is 28" in length (not 18"). I will order 4 each of the S380-28 with the 2740 stamp option. Very grateful you caught this and apologize for the inconvenience to you both. Will send pictures - please let me know if you agree. Thanks

Thanks for the reply! No worries! This certainly makes things easier that it's a standard balance. It looks like you're likely correct. Just double check that bottom shoe depth; if it's greater than 1", you need the S385-28 instead. Let me know if you have any other questions.
