"T" pivot bar
I put the new shoes, coil springs, and supports in place that you sent me.
I believe the pivot bar is the culprit in this!
The original T pivot bars were a bit longer and the T end seemed to be a little large then the one shown above.
I can move the shoe with a screwdriver in the balance channel but not with the window back in place!

Thanks for writing in! Your coil balance pivot shoe looks a lot like our 15-199. Carefully look over the dimensions and compare them to your existing shoe to confirm that this is the right fit. I am confident these are the replacement shoes you'll need.
This pivot shoe is compatible with either the Series 160 (1/2" width) or the Series 165 (3/8" width) coil balance springs. To determine which series you have, you'll need to confirm the width of your coils. Then you'll need to look for any stamps/markings that will indicate the spring strength needed for your window.
If there are no stamps/markings, you'll need to obtain the exact weight of the sash and divide it by the total number of coils in the window. That number will be the spring strength you'll need.
The end of your pivot bar looks like the 26-378 which is typically used with the 15-199 pivot shoe. Again, compare the dimensions to confirm this is the right replacement.
