Tape spring window replacement part

Quick Learner from Minneapolis MN
I am wondering how to replace these springs that are housed inside the window under a plastic casing. There are two per windows to assist opening the windows.

It seems you have a Simonton window. We believe these windows can use our 15-199 pivot shoe with 3/8" wide coil springs, such as the Series 165. You will need the spring weight number stamped on your coil spring in order to pick the appropriate part. We also offer a nylon spring cover that can hold all three springs in place; our 15-205. Take a look and let us know if you have any further questions.
