Question

I have 6 Thermastar double hung windows that are getting hard to open. I believe the problem is in the little rollers inside the balance which are frozen. Silicone lube doesn't help them.

I would like to try replacing the balances on one of the windows. Top are 32B and bottom are 34B. The have the hook at the top which goes into. 1/4" square hole but the hole is offset from center a little. I can probably get screws in them with the screw plugs.

Does the 795 series fit these?

We can supply these balances, but they will have to be custom made due to their configuration. Basically you have the same balance as the Series 795 but with the smaller 15-194 shoe and the 15-198 hook at the end of the cord, so it won't work for you as-is. That's why we have to custom make these in our shop before I ship them out.
