Vetter Window Hardware

Handy Person from minnesota

I have a casement vetter window that the spine on the crank is striped. When facing the window from the inside the hinges on the the right side . The lock is on the left and the window opens from the 9o clock to the 12 o'clock position ( 90 degrees). There are two series of numbers stamped on the crank arms. Are any of these a model numbers that can be used to identify what replacement crank I need? the numbers are 6D906 and 31850.

The color of the cover and crank handle are kinda a gray color /the wood trim is golden oak in color.

Hello! I'm afraid I don't know what you have. Of the two codes you provided, I only have a reference for 31850 in my records. This number is commonly associated with our 39-315 and 39-316 operators but that is far from a sure thing.

Your first step should be to examine the products in question and determine if they match your original hardware. However if they don't match, or if you aren't sure, then the next step is for you to take photos of your old operator and submit them to this page for me to review. Note that I will need to see your operator clearly and without obstruction, which means you have to remove it before you take your photos. If too much of the part is hidden by the window frame then we can't help.
