Hi,
The pivot bars have rusted out on my windows. (Located near to beach)
Questions:
1. Can you please advise the correct replacement parts if possible based on the photos and below measurements?
2. Based on the condition of the pivot shoe and broken / rusted piece of the pivot shoe in the slot - do you think I can simply scrape out the debris and put on rust killer or do I need to install new pivot shoes (requiring spreader or notch)?
3. I will try to keep the spiral balances and retention them. Is there an oil or WD-40 etc that is recommended to spray on them?
Details below:
Pivot Shoe:
Width = 12.5mm = 0.492" (1/2")
Height = 48.84mm = 1.92" (if 50mm = 1.96")
Interior opening of square height = 18mm = 0.7" (3/4")
Pivot Bar
Two screws = 15mm apart = 0.591" = 19/32".
I think the pivot show is: Pivot Shoe, 1/2" Thick
Product Code: 15-046
Looking to confirm this please.
Also - pivot bar recommendation. Not sure if I need a two hole replacement or if a single screw hold is ok.
Example: Pivot Bar, 3"
Product Code: 26-040
Thank you for your review and advice.
Cheers, Evan

Hello there, Evan.
We appreciate you reaching out to us. I don't think the 15-046 is what you want. This part has a very different cam than yours. However, I'm afraid I can't identify your hardware from these photos. I would need to see an undamaged pivot shoe removed from the window, along with the written-out thickness and width. The same goes for the pivot bar.
As for your second question, you could do that to see if it helps but you may ultimately want to consider replacing the pivot shoe. To re-lubricate your spiral balance, we recommend using white grease.
