Vinyl replacement window parts

Home Owner from Fletcher, NC
The crank assembly in pic 5705 will open but not close the window. When attempting to close, the handle screws out. The other photos are of the mitered lower trim pieces on the window exterior. The photos are of 2 different sized windows.

Thanks for writing in! The reason you are having the issue you are describing is because the worm gear in the operator has become stripped. So, when you are trying to turn the handle, that gear is not interacting with the hears on the inside of the operator base. This means you'll need to replace the entire assembly.

To identify the replacement you need, I will need to see a photo of the entire operator. I am especially looking to see a photo of the arm(s) and how the operator attaches to the bottom of the swinging window sash.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Hope this helps. It's the right hand sash if you need to know. The manufacturer of the assembly is a company called Truth.

Thanks for the requested photo. Your casement operator reminds me of the 39-035 Truth Hardware EntryGard Dyad Window Operator, and its opposite handed version the 39-036. To determine if this is the correct replacement, be sure to carefully review and compare the dimensions below.

I've also tagged the other compatible hardware below.

Dimensions for 39-035

Yes, that appears to be the correct crank assembly based on measurement. Any luck with the mitered plastic trim pieces?

I believe you may be referring to the glazing bead. To determine if there is a replacement we can recommend, I'll need to see photo of the end profile view of your bead. Take a look at the video below for reference.

Yes, I believe it is the glazing bead. Here are photos. I might have sent this twice, so apologies if you get more than one message.

Thanks for the photos. I'm sorry to say I was not able to locate a replacement for the glazing bead you have here. It has a very unique shape and the glazing bead we have would not work as a suitable alternative.

Our sincerest apologies we could not be of more help with this repair but please don't hesitate to reach out with any other hardware repair projects you might have.

Thanks for all your help. I've ordered the other parts
