Thanks for posting! I'm afraid I can't really determine what balance you have based on the window size. I recommend that you look at our Spiral Balance Home Page and follow the steps shown in order to find the appropriate replacement.

Thanks for the quick reply. Per your product description I need the Series 400 30 in tube...everything matches except the available bushing color. You have them in green and red...my bushing is white...will the red bushing substitute for the white...that's should have been my initial question. If not what's next? THANKS!

Thanks for getting back to us! Can you tell me what the weight of your window sash is? That will help us determine what tip color would be most appropriate for you.

Sorry cannot get the sash out of the frame...CBS construction...aluminum windows that are single hung. Overall dimensions of 1 window including aluminum framing and glass are 35X32. Frame should weigh approx 5lbs and regular pane glass cannot weigh more than 10lbs, so a guesstimate would be > 15

Hmm, it's very hard to say based on that information. I don't really want to go with estimates, as these systems are very particular. Could you perhaps try putting the scale on the sill and letting the window gently down? That might give us a better idea.

Using your suggestion the sash weight measured 12.2 lbs...I repeated the measurement several times and 12.2 lbs were the answers. That coupled with my present original 2 spiral balances with WHITE tips should suggest the answer. THANKS!!!

In that case, I think our Red Tip should be what you want. Two S400-30 balances with this tip can carry a sash weight range of 10 through 22 pounds. Let me know what you think.
