Window Sash Balance

Question

I'm 80% sure this is a 34" 770 series channel balance with a 1 1/4" shoe at the end. 34C is the stamp on it for the weight. Can you confirm or tell me what I need to replace this balance?

Thanks for posting! I believe you may actually have the S795-34 with a 34C stamp. The Series 770 features a terminal clip, but yours has a T-Lock shoe.

Since your balance has a 15-198 Balance Clip Attachment, there is a chance this may need to be a custom assembly. To determine this I'll need to see a photo of the of the installation hole where the hook/clip installs.
