Window balance

Thanks for posting! The Series 795 Channel Balance will work to replace your discontinued Cross Bow Channel Balance but I am not certain the 29" is the exact replacement you'll need since the balance is damaged. That said, there are a few details I'll need to gather before we can move forward. 

To start, please confirm the length of an undamaged balance. If you are not able to find an undamaged balance, I'll need to know the measurement for the height of the visible glass in the window, only the glass you can see.

I'll also need to see a photo of how the balance installs at the top of the window channel.

Thanks for confirming. Although, in regards to the hook, while you've confirmed the piece installed at the top, this still doesn't confirm exactly how the balance installs at the top of the window.

Please confirm the shape of the hole it installs in. Is it square, circular, or another shape? This will determine whether the replacements will need to be a custom assembly or not.

Thanks for confirming. Your window balances will need to be a custom assembly since the hole in circular. The replacements will be the S795-29 with a 15-198 Balance Clip Attachment. They will have the 29B stamp which can support a sash weighing 12 to 18lbs.
