For your window, you will need S765-27  balance. The spring option would be 2630 for a sash weighing between 12-17 lbs. Most pivot shoes that go with this balance system is the 15-046 which is 1-1/4" wide by 17/32" thick. To remove the balance from the window, first tilt in the sash and remove it. This will lock the pivot shoe in place. Now with needle nose pliers unhook the bottom clip from the pivot shoe. Hold on to it if the spring is still under tension. Noe to remove the bolt at the top, you will probably need a 1/4" socket wrench to unscrew it. If the pivot shoe is broken, follow our media guides for removal.
