I appreciate your help

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Our best suggestion would be to replace the entire balance assembly with our Series 795 Channel Balance shoe along with the 15-195B 1-1/4" T-Lock shoe with an open cam. The reason you would need to replace the entire balance is because the grove at the bottom of your balance will not allow this shoe to install properly on the channel.

I'm happy to provide you with a recommendation for the replacement balances, but I'll need to know the length of the metal channel, the stamp from the metal, and I'll need to see a photo of the hook/clip installed to the top of the balance.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions you might have.

Hi,

Thank you for your quick response. As requested, please see the additional pictures showing the balance. The balance length is 3ft.

Thanks for confirming. You'll need the S795-36 Channel Balance. Based on the length and the B from the stamp, I believe you'll need the 36B stamp option which can support a sash weighing 16 to 22lbs.

The 15-195B open cam shoe is sold separately from the balance but they are very easy to swap out. Take a look at the video tutorial below for reference.
