Trying to figure out what to order to replace this balance and shoe. There are no markings at all on the plastic cover and shoe only on the coils. Each balance had 3 coils in it with the markings # 4.0 and 35" p

Thanks for your post! This balance shoe and cover appear to be the 15-199 Pivot Shoe and 15-205 Egress Coil Triple Support. The compatible coil spring, for this shoe and cover combination, is the 3/8" wide Series 165 Coil Balance.

You'll need to check the coils for any stamps/markings that would indicate the correct replacement springs. Take a look at the video tutorial below for instructions on selecting the correct coils, if they are hard to read.
