Window balancer

A quick learner from Myrtle Beach SC says:
It most closely resembles the Certain teed coil balancer by dimensions. The band is 3/4" thick. The pivot shoe is 1-1/4" wide. Over all length looks to be about 4-1/2".

Hello,

Your balance system is an older style that is no longer made. It's actually kind of weird in that it's a hybrid of two different pivot shoes commonly used in MI windows: one which uses the 15-199 shoe and the other which uses the 15-180. It's similar to both but still different.

Now, we've never been able to find an exact match, but our 15-199 is the best candidate. This shoe is 17/32" thick by 1-1/4" wide, so that should work for you. You can also use our 1/2" thick Series 160 coil spring along with either our 15-150D cover. Please review these parts and let me know what you think. Thank you!
