Thanks for posting. These old GU Operators are no longer available, but you may be able to replace them with our 39-315 and 39-316. See the video below for details and let me know if you think this could work for you.

4x5 1/2 x 6
Brand is GU

Looking at our records, the old GU operator is the smaller part compared to our 39-316 and 39-316. It's base is less than 3-1/2" wide. Can you confirm?

Could it be you're referring to the metal base plate your operator uses to mount to the sill? If so, you don't have to worry about that. If memory serves, this doesn't fit through any hole in the sill trim. It just gives the old GU operator something to screw into.

Either way, the video above is our best--and only--solution for replacing your old operator. It's not made anymore and the parts Bob suggested should work as long as you follow the video.
