Hi! I have a vinylmax window that won't stay up. The uploaded photos are from a different window but the coil balance and brake shoe are missing from the window. What are the replacement parts that match the pictures above? Thanks!

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. The pivot shoe shown here is the 15-199, which uses the 1/2" S160 and 3/8" S165 coil springs. The compatible pivot bar is the 26-378. Review the specifications for these parts and let us know if you have any questions.

Hi! When I went to order the coil spring it asked for a weight before ordering and I couldn't find what that would be. Could you help me with that?

There should be a stamped weight code on the band of the old spring. If there isn't, you'll have to divide the sash weight by the number of springs used in the window.

If you'd like us to calculate the weights, please get back to us with the precise sash weight, along with the confirmed width of the old spring band. It should be 1/2" or 3/8".
