Window parts

Home Owner from West Virginia
I need help with replacing parts to put the lower sash of the window back in place. Can you tell me if I can still use those same parts or which parts to replace them with? Also I need help with what coils I need to, their the triple coil ones that go together and have the cover over them

Hello! These parts are called pivot shoes. Yours in particular appear to match our 15-199. Review its dimensions and let me know if they differ in any way.

Regarding the coils, the 15-199 is compatible with two sizes: either the 3/8" Series 165 or the 1/2" Series 160. You need to measure the original to verify the better option.

Here's what the existing coils I had before looked like. Could you tell me which size these are so I can replace them?

Also before you ask the lower sash is measured at 20.95 pounds and it's 3 coils on each side to hold. So if you could tell me what exact coils I need to get to replace.

It's difficult to garner precise size from a photo of a tape measure, unfortunately. That looks like 3/8" to me, but final determination of size must be yours. Due to the nature of this service, we can't measure for you.

For your sash weight, assuming this is the Series 165, then I recommend using one 5 pound and one 6 pound spring per side. That will give you 11 pounds of support per side, or 22 pounds total. This is also a two spring assembly, which will be much easier to install than a triple spring assembly. See our 15-204 double cover for 3/8" springs.
