Window spring assistant replacement o IN
Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to say I cannot use the part number to identify the replacement hardware needed for your coil assembly. I'll need to see photos of the shoe and the other compatible hardware used with the coil springs.
You'll also need to look for any stamps/markings on the spring. This is used to determine the strength of the spring needed to support the sash weight. If your coils do not have stamps/markings, I'll need to know the exact weight of the window sash, down to the ounce.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have.
Hello,
This photo only shoes the balance cover and the coil. This isn't a coil we sell a direct replacement for so I'd need to see the other components to determine if there is a replacement we can recommend.
As mentioned, I'll need to see the balance shoe the coil interacts with as well as any other hardware installed in the window track.
Thanks for the additional photos. Your coil balance shoe reminds me of the 15-192 CertainTeed Pivot Shoe. It uses the Series 170 and Series 171 Coil Balance Springs. The S170 is used for the bottom coil and the S171 is used for the top; take a look at the video tutorial below for a detailed explanation.
You'll need to look at the stamps on both springs to confirm the replacements needed for the balance. Based on the 406 is the stop above, I believe you'll need either the S170-406 or the S171-406 depending on if it is on the top or the bottom.
Your best bet would be to confirm the exact weight of the sash to confirm the stamps needed for the assembly.
