It's tough to make out your assembly while it's still in the window, but I understand that taking out a multi-spring balance is easier said than done. I'll do my best to ID what you have from these photos. It looks like your cover is an egress style like our 15-205 (triple) or even the 15-206 (quad). These are designed to accommodate 3/8" thick coil springs. Do you agree? If so, then I recommend our Series 165 spring and 15-199 pivot shoe. You'll need the stamp off the old spring to confirm the best Series 165 option, so you will have to take these out before you place your order. The video below may be of some help in this end. |

The parts I suggested are themselves substitutes for what you have now. I don't think your exact setup is made anymore, but once you have it out I'll look over it and see what I can come up with. I don't want to get your hopes up, though; odds are we'll have to stick with what we already discussed. |
