I have two windows not closing properly. One will not close far enough to use lock mechanism, the other window will shut on the lock side but the far side pushes away from sill.
Once we figure out what I need I would like to by two sets of hardware. If I get them installed properly I'll probably buy enough for the rest of my windows.
We should be able to help with these parts, but I'm not sure if you need a new hinge or a new operator. To confirm, please disconnect the operator from the window and open and close the window by hand. If it still hangs up, then you need a new hinge. I recommend the 36-048.
If the window operates just fine, then you need a new operator. You have either the 39-253LB or 39-438B, depending on the slider at the end of the arm. Not sure if you received previous responses here were my responses - This is one of pieces that goes on base of windows sill and holds to bottom of window. It appears the black piece at end has 2 holes.

How much would a complete hardware set be? From inside home the left side of window swings out. They are Simonton Windows.
