Window tilt broken

Home Owner from 21911
I need to get the part that I would assume is a metal pin for the window tilt. I have attached the photo of what it attaches to but as you can see, it has rusted away. I am not sure what is suppposed to attach the part shown to the window. It currently does not stay in on that corner when you open the window. Thanks!

Thanks for your post! This window balance can be replaced with either the 3/8" Series 900 or 5/8" Series 600 spiral balance, with a red tip. To determine the exact series and length, you'll need to confirm diameter of the balance as well as the length, excluding the colored tip.

There are a few different options we can recommend to replace the pivot bar. I suggest starting with the 26-040 and the 26-089. You'll need to find an undamaged pivot bar so that you can compare the dimensions and confirm if either of them is the correct match.

If you are looking for a replacement for the shoe, I'll need to know its width and thickness, written/typed out. I've included two tutorials below with instructions for how to remove/install them.
