Wood Casement window crank

Home Owner from Marshfield, WI
We have several windows that won't shut as the crank seems to be stripping. We've tried new crank handles and that didn't fix the problem, so I think it's the internal component that stripped. Can those be replaced?

The internal component on the casement operator is the worm gear. This is not something that can be repairs, unfortunately. That being said, you will need to replace the entire operator.

I am confident we can provide you with the right replacements, I'll just need to see a photo of the entire operator from a top-down view with the window open. I am looking to see a photo of the operator arm(s) and how it attaches to the bottom of the swinging window sash.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you might have!

I'm happy to help; thanks for the additional photos! Your window operators can be replaced with the 39-315 and 39-316 Truth Dyad Operators. These operators are compatible with the 39-545 and 39-546 Truth Snap-Stud Brackets. The 39-114L Crank Handle can be used to replace the crank.

Take a look over the diagrams below and double check the dimensions to confirm that these will be a fit.
