A quick learner from Amsterdam NY says:
The post that you slide the lock over is rusted off. Can it be replaced separately?
If not what is the correct part number to replace the whole mechanism?

Thanks for writing in. Do you mean the straight arm that attaches your window to the casement operator? If so, this part is not sold separately and you'll need to replace it outright. See our 39-013 and 39-014 to start. Go over all the dimensions and see if these match what you need.

Not to one-up my colleague, but I believe you might actually have a problem with your casement hinge instead. If so, see our 36-048. Review the dimensions and see if this hinge set matches what you need.
