balance #1 replcement

A handy person from Aztec, NM says:

I have two (2) balances that are in need of replacement. The attached photos are of the first. It is 1/2" wide and 28" long (metal to metal). The sash weighs 35 lbs. I am in need of 4 of these.

Along with the balances, I need 4 upper clips. the clip is 1 3/16" long.

Hello,

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-28 or S385-28 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. 

You'll need 2765 spring strength options for your replacement balances that support a 35-pounds sash.  The balances that support a 25-pound sash will require 2740 strength options.
