channel balance for Silverline 1000 series

A distributor from Massachusetts, USA says:
Hi.

My client has a houseful of Silverline 1000 series DH.
each sash glass size 32" x 25 1/4"

The inverted balances are 25" and are stamped 24 5 BSI rm

Looks like open cam 1 1/4" T lock

Will your 795 series work?

Thanks

Hello,

The balance shown in your photo does resemble the S795 but the T-lock shoe has an open cam, while ours comes with a closed cam. For that reason, you'll want to purchase the 15-195B open cam T-lock shoes to swap out with the stock attachments. See the related video that shows the replacement process.

I'd also recommend making sure that you are only measuring the metal channel and not the T-lock shoe in your length measurement since your balance stamp would normally indicate that you need the 24" long S795-24 balance with a 24E strength option.

Lastly, please note that our balance attaches to the window channel with a screw clip at the end of the pulley cord. If yours uses a hook like the 15-198, let us know and we can go from there. Thank you!
