Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to say the Series 140 is not interchangeable with the 15-177 shoe. Our best suggestion is to use the 15-177, and its compatible hardware/accessories, for the repair.

These are compatible with the Series 152 Coil Balance, which is attached to the shoe using the 33-072. You may also need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and 15-145 Coil Support Barrel to replace the cover/support; all three snap together around the coil.

For instructions on selecting the correct coil weight option, please see the tutorial below. It uses a different assembly but the process is the same.

The pivot bar, at the bottom of the sash, can be replaced with either the 26-226 or the 26-352. To determine which of these might be the best fit, carefully look over their dimensions (on the website) and compare them.
