At first glance, your handle resembles our 39-205 folding crank handle. Check it out and see if this is the correct piece you're looking for. |

I'm afraid that there's no repairing or replacing that casing. If that has broken, then you'll need an all new operator. We can help, but we'll need a clearer photo of the complete mechanism. Much of it is hidden by the frame and sill in this photo. If you can open the window as far as it can go and show me a clear top-down view of the mechanism, we can recommend a solution. |

Thank you for the photos. I see you have the older style GU operator that has been discontinued and replaced with our 39-315. Take a look at the detailed video below on how to replace this type of operator. Reviewing your photos, it does seem to me that you can reuse your existing sash bracket. Be advised that you will need to use the 39-105 detach clip to lock on the link arm to the sash bracket. If any other questions or concerns come up, please get back to us and let us know. |

Thank you! You're very kind to say so. You would need everything listed in the video, which would be:
As long as you use these parts and follow the instructions in that video then I think you'll be good to go. |

Our video showed the 39-316 operator, but the operator in your photos is our 39-316. I wanted to specify that because the number 39-315 is mentioned several times in the video and I didn't want you to be confused. It appears I failed! In an attempt to put all confusion aside: the 39-315 and 39-316 are the same style operator but for different sides. The 39-316 has its spline on the right side of the housing and the 39-315 has its spline on the left side of the housing. You should replace whichever you need, or both, as the case may be. |
