Thanks for writing in. See our 26-378 and 26-452 to start. Carefully look over the dimensions and see if one of these has a hole spacing, or the distance between the pin thats fits into the pivot shoe and the center of the mounting hole, that matches your old pivot bar. Let me know if either could work for you. |

I just ran in the back and measured our 26-378, and this appears to have a 5/16" width. This is standard for most pivot bars, though. A 1/4" is fairly uncommon. Can you triple check? If you are positive that your pivot bar is 1/4" then we don't have any options for you. You could still theoretically get our 26-378 to work (assuming the hole placement is good), but you'd have to use a file to shave off a hair on either side. That would give you the clearance you need without interfering with its operation too much. The difference is subtle, so if you do go this route then it's better to err on the side of caution. File a little off each side and try it out. If it's still too wide, shave just a little more off. Don't go overboard with it. I've done this myself for other kinds of pivot bars in a pinch and find it works well. Let me know what you think. |
