Thanks for reaching out! Your mortise lock looks like it could be the 82-268B Multi-Point Mortise Lock. To determine if this is the right replacement, you'll need to remove the existing lock and carefully compare the dimensions. This will require removing the part of the frame covering the lock to access it.

What is the process to open the cover? Is it from inside or from the outside? Can we get some more detail details, please?

Hey there,

Thanks for your post! You'll need to remove the trim piece from the door to be able to access the lock. A previous customer provided a detailed explanation on completing the process here.

Our senior expert, Dave, also mentions in that response that another option would be to remove the door from the track to see if you might be able to slide the lock out from either the top or bottom of the door.
