I want to order the right parts the first time, and tips on installation.
What parts? 4 pics uploaded. I believe they are self-explanatory. From pics of parts on your site, it looks like a 795 series 34C. But the balance top is a clip, not a screw-in. Ugh.
Installation. Fairly handy around the house, but never messed with windows. Here are the steps I reckon. 1 - insert shoe end at the bottom of the jamb, where the vinyl parts of the jamb for the channel the balance slides in (the channel at the bottom is flared a bit wider, as if to accept the shoe there, since the shoe is too wide to get in the channel further up the jamb). 2 - slide channel up, and set the clip/hook in to the hole at the top of the jamb - the hole is round, looks to be ~3/8" diameter. 3 - turn cams so opening is facing in to the room, parallel to ground. 4 - insert metal spikes at sash bottom in to the cam opening. 5 - now the sash bottom is in the balance assembly, tilt sash top up, disengage the locks atop the sash, and seat sash top in to the jamb. 6 - slide the sash up and what? Hear a click or something to know everything is engaged?

Thanks for writing in, and thanks for your patience. We believe you can use a custom version of our 34" Series 795, stamped 34C, with a 15-198 hook at the top to attach to the slot in your window track. I am sending you an email with a custom link to order (2) of these balances. If you have any further inquiries, just let us know here in the discussion thread. Many thanks.
