need help

Hello,
Your coil balance assembly reminds me of an older discontinued shoe that is no longer available. For this, we typically recommend our 15-192 Certainteed pivot shoe to replace your Simonton brand part but you may need to shave down the aligners from the shoe to install it into the window. Take a look at the dimensions to confirm if it may work for you.

These are compatible with the Series 170 coil balances as well as the Series 171. The S171 is stacked on top of the S170 in situations where there is more than one coil. To confirm which coil strength you need, you'll need to look for any stamps/markings on the metal coil. If there are no stamps/markings, you'll need to get the window weight and divide it by the total number of coils in the window.
Please also be aware that we are also now recommending the 15-259 pivot shoe, which should fit well in the track, along with the S159 coils springs and either the 15-255 single support or the 15-256 double support. To use this assembly, the original pivot bars would need to be replaced with our 26-083. We are still in the early stages of confirming if this replacement is a good long-term solution but we have high hopes that it will work with little need for modifications, if any. Take a look and if you decide to give it a try, we'd be eager to hear how it works out for you.
Be sure to carefully review all of the information to confirm which of these assemblies might be the best solution for your window.

To be able to determine the pivot bar needed I'll need to see a photo of your existing hardware.
In regard to the old coils, if they are the same size and shape, it is likely that could still work. You'll need to compare them to the Series 170 and Series 171 Coils to confirm. They are 3/4" wide.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.

I would recommend comparing the specifications of the 26-243 and 26-244 tilt latches to an undamaged version of your latch.

As for the pivot bar, it actually looks like you are showing an old-style Simonton part. With this new information, I would encourage you to follow the Simonton conversion video below. The 15-192 would still work in theory but you would need to swap out the metal cam with the one from your original show and shave down the front. At the end of the day, it may be more of a headache than replacing the entire balance assembly and pivot bar with the replacements mentioned in our video.
