Patriot window balance or ( ballister) #2862 marked on the part 34B. Would like to purchase some replacements.

I am sure we can help. To start, we need to see photos of the balance in question removed from the window. We'd also like for you to confirm the length of the balance. From there, we can start to narrow down some replacement options.

The balance measures34.5"

Thanks! This looks like our Series 795 channel balance. With a stamp of 34B, though, then the metal channel should be 34", not 34-1/2". Can you confirm? Make sure you're only measuring the metal channel. Don't count the shoe.

Also keep in mind that our Series 795 installs at the top using a screw, not a hook. I can't tell what yours uses but if it's a hook then let me know. We'd have to do something else.

Thank you for your prompt response. The channel is as you recommended to measure 34" . The connecting part at the bottom ( T shaped ) is the additional 1/2". And the top tab is drilled to accept a screw. So I am sure your series 795 is the item we wish to purchase.

Awesome! That all makes sense to me. I agree, the S795-34 is my recommendation and I am confident that it will work for your window.
