This window is from 2008 or so. The handle doesn't fit in the mechanism well anymore and it looks like both the male hex end and female end of mechanism is worn. I buoght a milgard casement window. it supposed to come with fold down handles. they sent only the cover and handle. how do I replace the cover only. milgard is no help. do I need to replace the entire operator?

I need the screw part of the crank for a casement window. The window is on the right from inside, but there is an L on the right arm of the mechanism. Can you tell me if the pictured part is a ROTO crankshaft? I can't find any markings on the plates, and have been assured it is not a Truth part.

ON THE CRANK IS BRAND TRUTH # 40471 US PAT #4,241,541

Please help me to identify which replacement crank would work on my American Craftsman casement window purchased in 2008. The only numbers I can find on the broken crank are 2108. Attached are four photos which I hope will be a help in identifying the right part. Thanks, Lynda
