The Latch broke. I need a replacement. Can you guide me to a replacement.

Unfortunately, the lock on my sliding door is no longer "catching" the piece on the door frame. I found a similar question on your website that looked to recommend 82-030 and 82-218. Is it required/recommended to replace both the handle and the mortise lock?

The lock will not open fully so it can connect with the door jamb and then be locked.

Unfortunately I have found no markings on this door and do not know it's age. Spread between screws is 3 3/4". Any help identifying what is needed to replace the locking mechanism, and if necessary the handles is appreciated.
