Window lock fits through a mortise in the aluminum frame of the slider. Push/pull plastic inserts into the frame of the fixed window.

This piece is broken. This is what locks my windows. The price goes into a whole in the frame of the window and has a pin that locks it in place from being pulled out. When you pull it out. It unlocks the window by allowing it to slide past the frame. The windows are from an older mid century modern ... (cont.)
