The only markings on this is a pat pend stamp. This roller mounts on the top of a wooden sliding closet door with three wood screws down into the door. I am trying to replace some old Cox & Sons, Pasadena, Calif.? pocket door hardware. The unbroken one is shown in the attached photo. Do you have something similar?

Marking on Pocket Doore Roller (1st image) No.85 Pate N 304882 ACME

I cannot find replacement roller that screws in the top & is wide enough for theses screwed holes. No names or #'s on the parts or the doors. My home was build in 1973. I am not sure if doors are original with home. I believe they are. I will need 8 of them.

I have two pocket doors that were formerly flat slab doors. We changed all of the doors to 6 pannel doors and now they sqeal and sqeak relentlessly. Can you suggest what the problem is?
