Wind bent bar when very gusty. The total length from pun to pun us 12 inches. The bar is 9 inches. Cannot find them that short. No numbers shown in part!

What is the swing arc for this closer? Will it allow the door to open to 90 degrees? It is going on an out-swing steel and glass security storm door, replacing a torsion bar closer that is worn out.

My house is about 30-years old, I wouldn't doubt if this is original. I'd like to replace this with something similar or the same if possible. Please explain/show what the torsion bar is/does. I can't picture how the closer could work with a stiff, straight bar attachment to the door, unable to swivel it would appear. And how would the angle be accounted for without bending the bar where it attaches to the door? Thanks. ... (cont.)

This heavy duty door closer works fine except that the small gadget that should keep the door open doesn't. Is it possible to replace just this small item or must the entire door closer be replaced?

what makes your closures 'heavy duty' ? & better than others heavy duty closures? I am installing french iron storm doors made by First Impressions Security Doors. they are very heavy and i plan on putting a closure at top & bottom of each door. thanks for a quick response.
