I was looking at parts 26-078 and 26-079 in white which might be suitable and less expensive than 26-188W. I need 6 of each of the nylon parts if you think they a ... (cont.)

Hi, it seems that 26-078 and 26-079 tilt latches would replace the current ones I have. However, I am tired of them breaking all the time. The 26-188W seems to have the same exact dimensions but made of metal. Of to use 26-188W instead of 26-078?
