82-261 Keyed Handle Set with Plates, 3-15/16"

The longest screws in the kit are 1 1/4". Far from any length that would be close to suitable. The actuator itself is too long, requiring grinding or cutting to be able to make this functional. There are no directions. At all. Nothing to state that the length of the actuator shaft may need to be alt ... (cont.)

Hi, I was working on installing the new handleset 82-261 & having a few issues. 1) The actual lock cylinder won't fit into the round hole for it in the outside door handle. Even after removing the locking horseshoe/pin, the diameter is slightly too large & I can't get one bit of it to fit in ... (cont.)

The 82-261 appears to be for doors that open right to left. Can the latch be changed for doors opening left to right?

Hello, I bought a 82-003 handle/latch. It fits great and everything works fine. However I would like a key type lock instead will this work 82-261 ? my door is 1 inch thick. does it come in any other color, would prefer darker color to match door. Thank you, Jim

Hi, I'm trying to find this type of locking mechanism for my sliding glass door. Screw holes are 3 3/4" on center. Your 82-261 looks like the closest match. Except that the screw holes are a little off. Can I redrill my door to make this fit? It's a keyed lock. Thanks!
