pivot shoe from a Simonton window

I'm trying to replace broken pivot shoe from a Simonton window. I saw the 15-192 shoe will work with a little modification. Will this 15-177 pivot shoe also work for this window? See attached picture.

Hey there. The 15-177 will not work with this discontinued setup. You might be able to get the 15-192 Certainteed shoe to work if you rub down the ridges on its face, but we've heard mixed things on this. Your best bet may be replacing the shoe with our 15-259; but this will require replacing the coil springs with the Series 159 springs also. See the video below.
