Hi there!

Thank you for bearing with us during this busy season. The pivot shoe isn't something we have an exact match for, but the 15-259 can replace it. This is compatible with the Series 159 coil balances and you will also need the 26-083 pivot bar. The compatible coil supports are the 15-255 and 15-256. Take a look at the videos below, they'll go over everything you'll need to know.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I'm afraid our department doesn't have a phone line, so I can only respond here on the discussion page. However, I'm happy to help you pick out the appropriate Series 159 coil springs. Can you weigh the window sash on a scale and tell me the precise weight? I can calculate what you need from there.

Goodmorning Emily,  the sash weighs 22.4 lbs. Just to clarify,  both new coils for each side will have the notched ends and both will fit into the new pivot shoe right?

Thank you for getting back to me! You can use two S159-05 5.5-pound coil springs on each side of the window, which will total 22 pounds of overall support. You will also need the 15-256 double coil support. The Series 159 coil springs have a "T" shaped tongue that's designed to fit into the 15-259 pivot shoe.

I'll be here if you have any questions!
