tilt window balances and misc parts

Contractor from Branford, CT
HI, as I searched for replacement parts for the "Unique" balances, your site came up. Time to rebuild these non-working windows, so I am attaching a few pictures.
Off-hand I want 8 of the 19-B-20

and 2 of the 23-C-30
plus 4-6 pivot pins.

Do the new balances have the 1-1/4" slide assembly for the pin to be inserted into?

Kindly let me know
Thank You

Hey, Jim. Let's start with the easier hardware first: the pivot bar and pivot shoe. I recommend looking at our 26-226 and 15-208, respectively. Carefully compare this hardware to your own to confirm.

As for the balances, the company that made yours is out of business so we would need to custom make them. For the first balance, I'm thinking a S770-20 but with a 62-105 hook specially attached. I would also go with the 20B stamp, which can carry a sash weight of 10 through 14 pounds.

For the second balance, I'd go with the S770-24 with the same 62-105 hook, and this time I'd choose a 24C option. This carries a 17 through 22 pound sash.

Please carefully review this hardware and let me know if this configuration will work. If so, tell me how many of each you need and we can work from there!
