tilt window parts broken

A quick learner from Eau Claire, WI says:
we recently bought a home and the windows are broken. I top sash won't stay up, it slams down when you unlock it.

The pivot shoes in your picture appear to match our 15-105, but these are not what keeps the window up. Based on what you describe, it sounds like the problem is with your balances. If you can, please show me a picture of the channel balances themselves, including both ends and the stamp printed on its surface. Thanks!
A quick learner from Eau Claire, WI says:
the stamped number on the channel balances is 2330

Thanks again for waiting. I can just about make out what kind of balance that is. This is something that will need to be custom made, I'm afraid. It seems like you have something like our S770-24 channel balance, but with a 62-105 hook instead of what it had before. I'm also leaning towards the 24C stamp option, which indicates a spring strength that can support a 17 through 22 pound sash.

Please review this information and confirm if it's correct. If so, let me know how many you need and I can send you a custom order form along with a price quote.
