32" long DB F02 3200 window balance

Handy Person from St. Louis
I need 32" Series 795 channel balances and am not sure about the option code on the existing balance - DB F02 3200 - see attached picture.

I also need the 15-198 clips instead of the screw in tabs for the top.

Can you help identify what I need to order?

Before we can begin to make any recommendations, we need to see photos showing the complete balance. We just want to confirm that the Series 795 can in fact be used as a replacement for your balance. At the same time, we can answer all of the other questions you have about your balance.

Thank you! I agree that our S795-32 can replace this, and we can supply it with a 15-198 at the top as a custom order. However, your stamp is very peculiar. One of our standard S795-32 stamps may work but I'm not sure which one to go with.

Can you tell me how much your sash weighs? That's the glass panel that your balances support. If I know how much that weighs, I can figure out how the new spring needs to be calibrated.

Finally, how many did you need altogether?

Once I have this information, I will email you an order link and price quote for that quantity.

the sash weighs about 20 lbs
I will need at a minimum 6 and may go for 10 to have some extra

Thanks! I hate to be a pain, but would it be possible to get me an exact sash weight? 20 pounds is right on the threshold of two different stamp options; the 32B option can carry 14 through 20 pounds, and the 32C option can carry 20 through 25 pounds. You said yours is about 20 pounds but I don't know if that's over or under.

Custom balances cannot be returned for a refund so we try to be as precise as possible. I don't want to send you the wrong stamp only to find out it's too strong or too weak.

Weighed it again, barely over 20 lbs, 20.5lbs

Perfect, thanks for checking that. If the sash weighs 20.5 lbs, then a stamp option of 32C is the way to go. I am sending you an email with a custom link to order (10) of these balances. Let me know if you want to adjust the amount again or anything else before ordering. Thanks so much!
