window balancer broken

Thanks for your post! This window balance is similar to a few we have. I'm confident we can narrow down the replacement, but I will need to see an unobstructed view of the bottom part of the assembly to identify it. The sash is blocking the view of the part.

Thanks for writing in! This window balance assembly seems to be a match for the 15-087 Coil Housing Pivot, used with the 15-086 Tandem Coil Housing. You can use either the 26-040 or the 26-089 to replace the pivot bar.

These are both compatible with the Series 180 Coil Balance. You'll need to remove the coils from the window to determine the correct coil weight option. If there are no stamps/markings on the coils, take a look at the video tutorial, tagged below, for instructions on selecting the correct option.
