ID Window Balances

Question

Greetings,
Need new window slide balances for Jordan brand non-tilt.
Metal section w/out plastic ends measures 23".
Thinking it's the 351 series but not sure how to determine the weight option code.

Thanks for contacting SWISCO. You are right, the Series 351 looks a promising start. Take a look at either our S351-23 or S390-23 Channel Balances. The only difference between the Series 351 and Series 390 is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. The Series 351 bottom nylon shoe has a depth of 1", whereas the Series 390 bottom nylon shoe has a depth of 1-1/8". Below are the dimensions of each respective shoe. Compare with your old balances and see what you think matches best.

The stamped number of 22 3 on your balance corresponds with a stamp option of 2230. This corresponds to a window sash that weighs 12 through 19 lbs.
