Product Description
This is a Series 175 spring for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using a specifically calibrated coil spring that allows the window sash to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.
- This is a light force spring. The silver color indicates the strength.
- Measures 1/2" thick.
- Has a short tongue, meant to install at the top of a set of coil springs or as the only coil in a coil balance system.
- Designed to work with the 15-266 carrier, and 15-267 spring clip (sold separately).
- This coil balance spring is sold individually, not in sets.
- Can work for either the left or right side of the window interchangeably.
Good Idea!
For best results, replace window balances in pairs (though sold individually). An old balance will overwork a new one, causing faster wear and uneven operation. Paired replacement ensures optimal, lasting performance.
