Product Description

This is a Series 161 replacement constant force balance system for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using a specifically calibrated coil spring that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.

This balance comes complete with a metal pivot cam, coil spring, and coil spring cover.
The spring is stainless steel and coated for low friction and corrosion resistance.
A pair of 10 lb assemblies will carry 19 to 20.99 lbs, (sold individually). The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old balance cartridge cover.

I am looking for a set (L & R) window counter balance springs and feet for a window. Need to remove

I need to remove the part that is pictured. It stops my window from closing completely. It has the number "10" on it. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Unbranded single hung single coil

Unfortunately there is no branding badge on any of the windows. Only window in the house with a coil balance and both coils are broken so I don't have pictures of a full proper installation. I am unclear if the entire coil is supposed to sit inside the shoe housing or not. Shoe body is 2 5/8" tall, ... (cont.)
