Product Description

This is a Series 161 replacement constant force balance system for tilt windows. It moderates the operation of your window sash using a specifically calibrated coil spring that allows the window to stay open when raised and remain shut when closed.

This balance comes complete with a metal pivot cam, coil spring, and coil spring cover.
The spring is stainless steel and coated for low friction and corrosion resistance.
A pair of 5 lb assemblies will carry 9 to 10.99 lbs, (sold individually). The weight you need should be indicated as a stamp or imprint on your old balance cartridge cover.

Only markings on the part are 5. This is out of a vinyl window but I don't know the brand

Broken cam on the pivot shoe

I am trying to find a replacement for the pivot shoe cam without having to replace the entire coil balance system on 2 window sashes. I would prefer not to cut the jambs or purchase the jamb spreaders but will do so if I need to.

Broken coil spring for a MI 3500 series window

I was asked to provide additional pictures. The first picture is the broken sash and the other is a complete working sash. I am wondering what sash these are and if you have any replacements. Thanks you.

Its still in the window at my daughters house I think it is a MI vinyl window,the Balance has a M 5 on it, this is the good side the other side is broke the die cast part is broke and the nylon is distorted too thanks Ron
