Andersen 400 PS Sash Lock, LH

I have this casement window which was installed before I bought the home. It seems I miss a small piece to keep the handle on the system. The first picture is the current issue, the second, with white paint on it, has the small steel piece that helps hold the handle.

This is for left side casement window. The part of the locking component that is attach to the handle is broken. I'm not sure about remove it since it is built inside the wooden fame and I don't see any screws.

This locking mechanism is from an Anderson casement window from 1995 the number on the item is 361902.The window seems to have settled a little and the sash I believe has to be shimmed. My order number was 1759286,these were parts of Andersen - straight arm operator and Tandem stash Lock. These parts did not fit and I returned it back.
